Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: A growing manufacturing company in Egypt is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at its factory located in Suez. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities across factory equipment. • Ensure equipment availability and minimize breakdowns and production downtime. • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for recurring failures. • Manage and develop mechanical, electrical, and CNC maintenance technicians. • Plan maintenance schedules, spare-parts requirements, and maintenance activities. • Monitor key maintenance KPIs including downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and equipment availability. • Coordinate closely with Production to ensure production continuity. • Support machinery installation, commissioning, and start-up. • Drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement. • Ensure compliance with maintenance and safety standards. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline. • 8+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial maintenance role. • Strong experience in preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability. • Experience managing maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of PLC/control systems, motors/drives, pneumatic and hydraulic systems is preferred. • Experience in WPC, PVC, plastics, extrusion, CNC, wood/door manufacturing, building materials, or related industries is highly preferred. • Factory start-up/commissioning experience is a strong advantage. • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and planning skills. • Good command of English is preferred.
