Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a Cloud Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience supporting production AWS environments to join our operations and cloud engineering team. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Provide hands-on operational and production support for AWS cloud infrastructure • Manage AWS IAM configurations, system monitoring, and incident management • Maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using Datadog and CloudWatch • Implement and oversee AWS backup and recovery operations • Perform Linux/Unix system administration duties • Participate in on-call rotations and provide production support • Manage version control and project tracking using Git/GitHub and Jira/Agile Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 6+ years of total IT experience • 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Support / Cloud Operations • Certification: AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent • Strong experience with Terraform and Python • Comprehensive knowledge of AWS IAM, monitoring, and incident management • Proven experience with Datadog and CloudWatch • Hands-on experience with AWS Backup & recovery • Solid background in Linux/Unix administration • Proficiency with Git/GitHub and Jira/Agile methodologies • Dedicated on-call and production support experience • Exposure to Snowflake, MongoDB Atlas, or Confluent Cloud is a plus Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Seattle, WA (Local candidates preferred) • Work Arrangement: Hybrid • Employment Type: Contract / CTH (Contract-to-Hire) • Shift Details: Includes on-call / production support duties Compensation & Benefits: • Not specified Application Instructions: • Interested candidates should send their updated resume via email.
