Job description

We are hiring an experienced Maintenance & Automation Engineer for our automotive plastic injection moulding and tool room facility in Chakan, Pune. You will be responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding machines, troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and servo systems, as well as maintaining chillers, compressors, hopper dryers, MTCs, robotic pickers, and auxiliary equipment. Additional duties include PLC, HMI, sensors, drives, and automation system troubleshooting, supporting automation projects, machine interlocks, and Poka-Yoke systems, and maintaining tool room equipment such as CNC, VMC, EDM, Wire-Cut, and grinding machines. You will engage in TPM, Kaizen, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and maintain PM records, machine history, breakdown analysis, and IATF 16949 documentation. Preferred skills include PLC programming (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, Omron, Allen-Bradley), injection moulding machine maintenance, industrial automation and control systems, TPM, energy saving, and maintenance cost optimization, plus ERP maintenance module knowledge. Experience required: 3–8 years, qualification: Diploma/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering. Industry preference: automotive plastic injection moulding, tool room and mould manufacturing, or Tier-1/Tier-2 automotive suppliers. Salary: ₹4.5–₹9 LPA based on experience and automation expertise.
