Job description

We are hiring an experienced Application Security Engineer - Team Leader to join our hybrid team in Pune. The role involves performing Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) across multiple programming languages and open-source libraries, conducting security-focused code reviews, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing remediation guidance to development and security teams. You will build proof-of-concept demonstrations to illustrate vulnerability exploitability, analyze application architecture from a security perspective, mentor and guide junior engineers, and drive security throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in secure code review, SAST and SCA, the ability to read code in Java, .NET, Go, Python, or similar languages, strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for web, API, and mobile, understanding of PCI-DSS and secure coding practices, strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, experience with DevSecOps and enterprise-scale applications, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Nice-to-have qualifications include Checkmarx experience and certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CSSLP, CISSP, or GWAPT. This role offers a referral incentive for successful candidate referrals.
