The role involves managing OpenShift/Kubernetes environments, designing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD, automating infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, and collaborating with development teams for deployment and release management. Key skills include Docker, containerization, Linux/Unix administration, AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms, Git, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk), networking, security, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Preferred experience includes OpenShift/Kubernetes certification, Helm Charts, ArgoCD, microservices architecture, and DevSecOps practices.
