Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: An opportunity for an AWS DevSecOps Engineer / Cloud Security Engineer in Mumbai. The role focuses on securing every stage of the software delivery lifecycle, implementing automated security scans, blocking vulnerable builds, and securing AWS infrastructure before production deployment. An Individual Contributor (IC) role is preferred. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Work with AWS CI/CD tools including AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodeCommit. - Implement and integrate SAST/DAST security tools (SonarQube, Checkov, Semgrep, OWASP ZAP, or Burp Suite) into delivery pipelines. - Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. - Ensure container security across Amazon EKS, ECS/Fargate, ECR, and Trivy. - Implement and manage AWS security services including IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail, and AWS Config. - Write Python and Shell scripts to establish automated security gates and embed automated checks into delivery pipelines. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 6+ years of relevant experience. - Proven background as an AWS DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or DevOps Engineer. - Hands-on expertise in embedding automated security checks, vulnerability scanning, and compliance guardrails across AWS environments and delivery pipelines. - Core technical competencies: AWS CI/CD, SAST/DAST tools, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK), Kubernetes/EKS/ECS container security, and scripting. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. • Compensation & Benefits: - Not specified. • Application Instructions: Eligible professionals can apply by sending an updated resume via email.
