Role & Company / Project Overview Global IT Con. LLC is hiring a Senior Platform Network Architect/Engineer to lead the architecture and engineering of large-scale, multi-tenant, cloud-hosted network platforms, focusing on cloud-hosted and virtualized network services. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Lead network architecture and engineering for data center networking environments. - Architect and deploy Leaf-Spine, VXLAN, and overlay networking solutions. - Design and optimize 100G/400G high-speed networking fabrics. - Deploy and manage Red Hat OpenStack and OpenShift infrastructure. - Implement Kubernetes, CNF, VNF, and NFV network architectures. - Oversee SONiC enterprise networking implementations. - Architect robust WAN, VPN, and network resiliency frameworks ensuring high availability and geo-redundancy. - Design multi-tenant network architecture and enterprise security frameworks. - Coordinate and integrate with Equinix and global data center POPs. - Implement network automation and service chaining. - Author and maintain High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and technical architecture documentation. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 15+ years of relevant networking and architecture experience. - Deep technical expertise across Leaf-Spine, VXLAN, 100G/400G networking, Red Hat OpenStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes, CNF/VNF/NFV, and SONiC enterprise networking. - Comprehensive experience with WAN, VPN, HA/geo-redundancy, multi-tenant security, and Equinix/global POPs. - Preferred: Experience with Redis, GPU/DPU infrastructure, AI/GenAI networking, Equinix Fabric, and large-scale cloud/data-center environments is a plus.
