Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join an established contractor specializing in finishing works in Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, quotations, and conducting quantity take-offs from drawings. You will manage project budgets, track expenditures, and monitor cost performance. Responsibilities include attending tender briefings, site meetings, and project discussions, performing on-site measurements and inspections, and monitoring site progress for monthly reporting. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Candidates must possess own transportation and be willing to travel. Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field, proven QS experience (preferably in flooring, finishing works, or specialized sub-contracting), strong numerical/analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp is an added advantage.
