Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an experienced Forwarding Manager to lead forwarding operations, ensure smooth import and export processes, and drive operational excellence in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. This position is strictly open to Malaysian candidates only. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Manage daily freight forwarding operations for both import and export. • Oversee customs clearance processes and documentation. • Ensure strict compliance with import and export regulations and statutory procedures. • Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and logistics partners. • Manage FCL, LCL, Airfreight, Cross-border, and Dangerous Goods (DG) cargo handling. • Support customer requirements and actively resolve operational issues. • Lead, guide, and develop forwarding teams to achieve service excellence. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Malaysian nationality only. • Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding. • Hands-on customs clearance and declaration experience. • Knowledge of HS/HTS code classification. • Practical experience with uCustoms / ZB submission. • Solid understanding of duty/tax structures and import/export permits. • Familiarity with FCL, LCL, Airfreight, Cross-border, and Dangerous Goods (DG) cargo handling. • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight timelines. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. • On-site operational management covering sea freight, air freight, land transport, and global logistics.
