Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an experienced and results-driven General Manager – Quality to lead and oversee the complete quality function of our Garments Knits Division. We are seeking a strategic quality leader who can move beyond inspection and build a culture of 'Right First Time,' process discipline, and continuous improvement across the division. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead the overall quality function across the Garments Knits Division • Establish and maintain robust quality management systems and standards • Monitor quality performance from fabric inspection to cutting, stitching, finishing & final inspection • Drive inline, end-line, and final inspection processes • Analyze quality defects, identify root causes, and implement CAPA • Develop and monitor quality KPIs, targets, and improvement plans • Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards and specifications • Collaborate closely with Production, IE, Merchandising, Dyeing, Finishing & Technical teams • Lead quality audits and ensure timely closure of observations • Develop and mentor the Quality team to build a strong quality culture • Drive continuous improvement, defect reduction, and process optimization • Handle customer/buyer quality concerns and ensure effective corrective actions Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile, Garments, Quality Management, or a relevant field • Experience: Proven senior-level experience in Garments/Knits Manufacturing Quality • Strong understanding of garment manufacturing and end-to-end quality processes • Excellent knowledge of quality management systems, CAPA, RCA, AQL & quality KPIs • Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills • Process discipline, and experience dealing with international buyers and quality requirements will be an advantage Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Department: Quality • Division: Garments – Knits • Location: SITE Karachi, Pakistan Application Instructions: Interested candidates are invited to submit their updated CV to the designated email address.
