Job description

We are seeking a skilled SQL DBA to manage and optimize enterprise database systems across SQL Server and Azure environments. The role involves managing SQL Server databases across Dev, Test, and Prod environments, ensuring high performance, availability, and reliability. Key responsibilities include handling backup, recovery, and disaster recovery setups, working with Always On Availability Groups and Replication, optimizing queries, indexes, and stored procedures, implementing security, encryption, and auditing standards, supporting Azure SQL Database and Managed Instance, automating DBA tasks using T-SQL and PowerShell, and supporting database migrations and cloud adoption initiatives. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in SQL Server Administration, strong T-SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills, experience in HA/DR solutions, Azure SQL and hybrid cloud exposure, knowledge of PowerShell scripting, and a strong understanding of database security. Good to have certifications include DP-300, AZ-104, or AZ-305. Employment is full-time, remote.
