• Role & Company / Project Overview Hitachi Digital Services is hiring an experienced Solution Architect – Infrastructure & Network for its growing Infrastructure Practice in Hyderabad. The role drives enterprise technology transformation by designing secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions across hybrid enterprise environments (on-prem, cloud, and manufacturing) for global businesses. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end infrastructure & network solutions aligned to enterprise standards. Create High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), network diagrams/topology, standards, roadmaps, and migration designs. Define architecture patterns for LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless networking, data centre, cloud connectivity, server and virtualisation platforms, identity, remote access, disaster recovery, etc. Ensure scalable, supportable, and sustainable solutions across hybrid environments. - Security, Risk & Compliance: Embed security-by-design principles. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIS2, SOX (where applicable), internal policies, and industry regulations. Partner with Security Assurance Analysts for risk assessments and vulnerability management. Ensure network segmentation, identity controls, secure remote access, logging, monitoring, resilience, and recovery controls. Support audit activities and remediation. - Technology Governance & Architecture Standards: Maintain and govern technology standards. Participate in Architecture Review Boards and governance forums. Evaluate technologies and ensure strategic alignment. Provide technical assurance for projects, changes, and third-party solutions. Support lifecycle management and obsolescence planning. Contribute to enterprise architecture roadmaps and ensure consistency across regions and business units. - Project & Change Delivery Support: Provide architectural leadership to projects and programmes. Collaborate with Project Managers, Infrastructure, Network, Cybersecurity, Applications, Vendors, and Service Providers. Support estimation, planning, and technical risk management. Ensure smooth transition to operations. - Operational Improvement & Service Resilience: Identify simplification, optimisation, and automation opportunities. Engage with technology vendors and partners. Provide technical guidance to operations and engineering teams. Support major incident resolution and root cause analysis (RCA). Support monitoring capability and capacity planning. Promote resilient and highly available designs to reduce operational complexity and technical debt. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Build strong relationships across IT, Security, Operations, Manufacturing, and Business leadership. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 12+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure & network solution architecture. - Extensive expertise in LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and wireless networking. - In-depth knowledge of cloud & hybrid infrastructure and cloud connectivity. - Solid experience in data centre, server & virtualisation platforms. - Strong background in network security, network segmentation, and identity & access management (IAM). - Expertise in High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and network topology development. - Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, and high availability planning. - Proven track record with security, risk, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, SOX). - Demonstrated ability in technology governance, architecture standards, and roadmaps. - Solid experience in vendor management, stakeholder collaboration, and technical leadership. - Knowledge of monitoring, observability, automation, and operational resilience. - Notice period: Immediate joiners to 30 days' notice preferred. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India. - Work arrangement: Hybrid work environment. • Compensation & Benefits - Work on global digital transformation projects. - Continuous career growth and professional development. - Learning and professional certification opportunities. • Application Instructions Interested candidates should share their updated resume with the recruitment team at Hitachi Digital Services.
