Role & Company / Project Overview: Seeking an experienced .NET + SQL Developer for an immediate, long-term opportunity in Houston, TX under a W2 Only arrangement. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design and develop REST APIs, Web Services, and Windows Forms applications. • Carry out database development, query optimization, and performance tuning using Azure SQL / MS SQL Server. • Hands-on development and execution of Stored Procedures. • Design integration applications involving upstream and downstream systems. • Manage source code, branching, merging, and continuous integration/deployment using Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. • Work with application monitoring tools such as ActiveBatch, App Insights, or similar. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Strong experience with .NET 6/6.1, .NET Core, C#, VB.NET, and Entity Framework. • Strong experience with Azure SQL / MS SQL Server. • Expertise in database development, query optimization, and performance tuning. • Hands-on experience developing and executing Stored Procedures. • Experience designing integration applications involving upstream and downstream systems. • Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, branching, merging, and code management. • Familiarity with application monitoring tools such as ActiveBatch, App Insights, or similar. • Angular experience is a plus. • Experience with SSIS packages and SSRS reports is a plus. • Eligibility: Employment type is W2 Only.
