Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect – Cloud & Infrastructure to provide technical leadership and design enterprise-wide solutions for large-scale information systems on a W2 contract basis. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Design enterprise architecture across software, hardware, cloud infrastructure, communications, integrations, and interfaces. - Develop scalable solutions supporting current and future cross-functional requirements. - Ensure solutions comply with IT architecture standards, governance, and enterprise requirements. - Evaluate technical workflows, organizational processes, and infrastructure challenges and develop corrective solutions. - Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and direction to technical teams. - Drive technical planning and solution architecture for software portfolios. - Develop/manage software and solution designs and evaluate technical alternatives. - Support vendor evaluations and provide technical recommendations. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Required Cloud Skills: - Microsoft Azure - Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Enterprise / Solution Architecture experience - Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture - Preferred Skills: - Amazon Web Services (AWS) - Experience with Aura - TOGAF knowledge or certification - Experience & Education: - 2–4+ years of relevant experience required. - Experience in broad technology delivery, including custom development. - Strong technical leadership and software engineering design experience. - Ability to analyze technical alternatives and present options to technical and business stakeholders. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field required. - MBA or advanced technical degree preferred. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Houston, TX 77002, United States (Hybrid). - Duration: 12+ Months contract (W2 employment). • Application Instructions Interested candidates who match the profile and qualifications are invited to apply by submitting their resume.
