Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an experienced ML/DevOps Engineer (MLOps Engineer) for an onsite project engagement in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on building, automating, and managing scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to deploy Machine Learning and AI models reliably into production environments. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Build, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure for machine learning workflows. • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines tailored for ML and AI model production deployments. • Facilitate end-to-end model serving, tracking, and operational lifecycle management. • Configure and manage robust system monitoring, alerting, and logging for model health and infrastructure performance. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Total Experience: 5+ years of overall experience, with at least 3+ years specifically in MLOps / ML DevOps. • Strong cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Azure ML, or Databricks. • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. • Hands-on CI/CD pipeline automation experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. • Deep familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation. • Strong scripting proficiency in Python and Bash. • Monitoring tool expertise with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch. • Solid understanding of the complete ML lifecycle and production model deployment best practices. • Good to Have: Generative AI / LLM deployment and model serving experience, API gateways, cloud certifications, and prior experience in regulated industries or large enterprise environments. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. • Work Mode: Onsite (Local candidates only). • Engagement Duration: 12+ Months contract.
