Role & Company / Project Overview: US3 Electronics (Real Manufacturing Services Pvt Ltd) is hiring a hands-on SMT Equipment Engineering Technician to join its growing electronics manufacturing facility in Chennai. The role sits within Equipment Engineering and Maintenance, supporting SMT line setup, operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Set up, operate, and maintain SMT lines end to end; support Pick-and-Place, printer, SPI, reflow, AOI, loaders, and unloaders. • Troubleshoot machine breakdowns, minimize downtime, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance. • Handle feeder setup, calibration, nozzle cleaning, and machine changeovers. • Support model changeovers, new product introduction (NPI), and production ramp-up. • Monitor equipment performance and availability; maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and spare-parts inventory. • Coordinate with Production and Process Engineering teams to achieve production targets. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience with SMT machines and production lines. • Diploma or ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. • Practical knowledge of SMT equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. • Preferred skills: Machine programming and setup, alarm handling, recurring-failure root cause analysis, and shift support. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. • Shift support is required as part of equipment maintenance and production line operations.
