Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking a Senior AWS Administrator with strong hands-on Apache NiFi administration experience to support and scale production cloud infrastructure and data delivery platforms. This is a long-term contract (W2 role) with no visa restrictions. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Administer and maintain AWS production and non-production environments. - Install, configure, upgrade, and manage Apache NiFi clusters. - Troubleshoot NiFi processors, connections, back-pressure, and performance issues. - Manage AWS IAM, security groups, and least-privilege access. - Support EC2 patching, hardening, and lifecycle management. - Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. - Partner with Data Engineering teams on NiFi flows and data pipelines. - Participate in on-call support and production incident resolution. - Maintain runbooks, documentation, and operational standards. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 5 to 8 years of AWS Administration experience. - 3+ years of hands-on Apache NiFi Administration experience. - AWS Core Services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling. - NiFi cluster setup, scaling, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting. - NiFi security: TLS/SSL, Keycloak/LDAP, authentication, and access policies. - Linux Administration: RHEL / CentOS / Ubuntu. - Infrastructure as Code: Terraform / CloudFormation / Ansible. - Networking: DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPNs. - Monitoring: CloudWatch / Datadog. - Scripting: Bash / Python / PowerShell. - Preferred: AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator). - Preferred: NiFi Registry & version-controlled flow deployments. - Preferred: Kafka / ETL / ELT experience. - Preferred: Docker / Kubernetes / EKS. - Preferred: Background in Telecom, Media, or other enterprise/regulated environments.
