Role & Company / Project Overview: A leading food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Plant Manager to lead its cheese manufacturing operations and drive operational excellence, productivity, quality, and overall plant performance. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Lead and oversee day-to-day cheese manufacturing operations and factory activities. • Drive operational excellence, plant productivity, product quality, and overall performance metrics. • Ensure strict adherence to Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP standards across all production lines. • Monitor and achieve operational targets and production KPIs. • Manage cross-functional production teams, ensuring effective workforce leadership and continuous operational improvement. • Utilize decision-making and problem-solving methodologies to optimize plant efficiency. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. • 15+ years of experience in food manufacturing. • Proven experience in Plant / Factory Management, preferably within Dairy or Cheese Manufacturing. • Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to achieve operational targets. • Solid knowledge of Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and Production KPIs. • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills. • ERP / SAP experience is an advantage.
