Job description

We are hiring a seasoned DevOps Engineer for a long-term contract role in Atlanta, GA (100% onsite). This position requires 13+ years of experience and deep expertise in AWS infrastructure and automation. Key responsibilities include designing secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure, collaborating with engineering teams on deployment and infrastructure needs, building and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform/CloudFormation, administering and troubleshooting Linux-based systems, developing CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, monitoring and optimizing production systems, and handling logging, metrics, and cost optimization on AWS. Required skills include 10+ years of AWS experience (VPC, EC2, EKS, ECS, IAM, S3, CloudFront, etc.), strong knowledge of AWS security and compliance best practices, hands-on experience with Chef, Terraform/CloudFormation, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub, ELK, strong Linux and networking fundamentals, CI/CD pipeline expertise (CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Jenkins), and programming knowledge in Python, Java, Golang, Ruby, or PowerShell. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and passionate about building reliable cloud systems.
